Hi there,
I have been on the BNF for three months and the first three months I got a new BNF that I didn't have before my period. However, my doctor prescribed Clomid to be on my BNF and I can't get it through my GP because it's been on my BNF for two months.
The first month I was on Clomid and my period was due. I was told it's not possible to get my period on a BNF, but my GP told me to go to an online doctor and get it on the NHS. However, after trying the online doctor and getting a bit confused, my doctor didn't give me the right BNF for my period. They said I'd be taking Clomid for five days before they'd let me go. This didn't happen, my period came back within 2 days of taking Clomid. I went to the online doctor and they said it could be from something in the BNF and I'd be under the impression that it was from Clomid. I went back to the online doctor, and there were no problems and the doctor gave me the Clomid on the BNF. This is when I was given a lot of advice from my GP, the first thing I want to do is to go back to my previous GP's and ask the online doctor if I'd be taking Clomid. I've been on Clomid for over 5 years and the online doctor has given me the correct BNF for my period so no problem with taking Clomid.
The last two months I've been on Clomid and my period comes back after a couple of days. I haven't had any problems but my GP and I thought I'd give me the best advice on what to do for my period. I'm from Dubai and I've been told by my GP that Clomid is not the right treatment for my period so I've been taking it for about 5 years. I'm going to start taking it now to see if it helps. My doctor is going to give me a BNF but she doesn't know if it's from Clomid or from another medication. I'm going to ask her to give me a referral to a doctor or go to a clinic for treatment.
Thanks,
Bian

I'm a female with 3 periods each month. I've got my period this year and it's due. I've got a normal monthly cycle of one month before the period starts. The first month I got my period I was given the BNF, and I'm now on Clomid for two months. The first month I didn't get my period, but my GP said it was because I was on Clomid for 5 years. The second month I was given the BNF and got it on the NHS. The first month I was told to go to an online doctor and get it on the NHS. It didn't work for me and I'm now on Clomid for 5 years.
